5The Greer Family Band enjoys playing bluegrass, gospel, and fiddling tunes at a variety of venues including church socials, family reunions, bluegrass jamborees, country music shows, and retirement homes in and around the Brenham, Texas area. Band members include Jordan on the fiddle, mandolin, and dobro; Adam on lead guitar and banjo; Mandy on mandolin; Mom (Lisa) on rhythm guitar, and Dad (Lawrence) on the bass.


We have recorded 3 CDs:  Down Yonder, is a collection of many of our favorite songs, and some of the first ones that we learned to play together. It was recorded in 2004, at Love Monkey Studios in Austin, TX . Our 2nd album, "The World's Still Turning," was recorded at Kerry Jones's Recording Studio in Alvin, Texas ([email protected]) in the summer of 2008.  It features a good mix of old time fiddle tunes, gospel songs, and some of Adam's and Jordan's contest tunes.  Our most recent album is "Blue," titled after Adam's original which is included on this CD.  It also features another original by Adam titled "Tennessee River," plus Jordan's humorous "The Facebook Song."
