So who are we?

The Greer Family Band enjoys playing bluegrass, gospel, and fiddling tunes at a variety of venues including church socials, family reunions, bluegrass jamborees, country music shows, and retirement homes in and around the Brenham, Texas area. Band members include Jordan (19) on the fiddle, mandolin, and dobro; Adam (16) on lead guitar and banjo; Mandy (14) on mandolin; Mom (Lisa) on rhythm guitar, and Dad (Lawrence) on the bass; and musicians-in-training: Steven (13) on the guitar, and Stephanie (11) vocals!

Down Yonder, is a collection of many of our favorite songs, and some of the first ones that we learned to play together. It was recorded in 2004.

Our most recent CD titled "The World's Still Turning" was recorded at Kerry Jones's Recording Studio in Alvin, Texas (tubabanjoguy@hotmail.com) in the summer of 2008.  It features a good mix of old time fiddle tunes, gospel songs, and some of Adam's contest banjo tunes.
